For
the Bank of Canada - selection, implementation and on-going
support of a fully-integrated Web-enabled CAD/CAFM system which
provides real-time reports for the comptroller and other internal
FM service clients. {more detail}
For
Natural Resources Canada, we conducted a CADD/CAFM/GIS
needs analysis and feasibility study for the national facilities
management function. The study included development of an information
strategy and made specific recommendations concerning the delivery
of the FM service and on selection of CAFM software. A CAFM system
was installed in early 1994 and was successfully implemented by
the client.
For
Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (formerly Revenue Canada
- Customs, Excise and Taxation), we conducted a CAFM software
needs analysis study for the GST Processing Centre. Made specific
recommendations on needs and on the software able to meet the
identified needs.
When
Health Canada decided to bring their CAFM system in-house,
CTPG re-engineered the CAFM database originally developed for
occupancy of a renovated building. Working with only exported
database tables and examples of output reports, we analyzed, designed
and implemented the CAFM system.
For
Public Works and Government Services Canada, we assisted
in the writing of the scope of work and determining of the CAFM
deliverables for the Jeanne Mance building replan. Interviewed
personnel from Health Canada and Public Works to establish how
the current program data would be manipulated for design development.
For
the Department of Justice, we prepared a CAFM implementation
plan, then provided consulting support and management training
to assist in the execution of the plan.
We
have successfully completed consulting and training projects with
the Canada Employment and Immigration Commission, the Public
Service Commission, the Department of Justice Canada,
Stone Consolidated, Communications Canada and with
the Ottawa Civic Hospital on the use of CAD and CAFM to
support the FM role.
