CTPG has been
providing the Bank of Canada with interior planning and
design CAD services for their more than 40 floors since the mid
1990s. When they decided to automate their facility data to produce
more timely space management reports for the comptroller, they
asked CTPG to work as a partner in the selection, implementation
and on-going support of a CAFM system. Soon after implementation,
we were asked to take on the full responsibility of operating
and managing the combined CAD/CAFM system. The data was originally
provided in hard copy and electronic copy as required. When a
Web-enabled version of the CAFM software was available, we helped
the Bank implement their FM Web site as part of the Bank's intranet.
Now, interested staff can see their floor plans, produce reports
and view scanned construction drawings at their workstation.
