For
the City of Ottawa, Cindy captured the occupants' requirements
for furniture and workstation layouts for all four floors of the
Ben Franklin Place facility. She coordinated the furniture move
drawings and spreadsheets to include moving furniture from other
sites, from swing space within the building, from City inventory
and specifying new furniture. Cindy also selected, specified and
documented the finishes for the building.
As
the lead designer on a project for the Township of Lanark Highlands,
Cindy determined the detailed requirements for all individuals,
documented the functional program and developed planning options
that recognized the need for staff and public confidentiality,
are fiscally responsible, meet health and safety requirements
and reduce the fragmentation of communication.
For
the Bank of Canada, Cindy is involved with various projects
in functional programming, space planning and interior design.
The results of some of these projects will be the development
of furniture and fit-up standards for conference and meeting rooms.
As the Bank is a visually prominent structure, with historical
links to banking in Canada, each project has special requirements
for maintaining the heritage of the building, accounting for increased
security, and ensuring the work environments represent the vision
of the Bank.
