For
the Bank of Canada, Meredith consults on strategic facility
planning and FM processes and manages the on-going partnership
with the Bank to provide expert advisor, quality assurance, functional
programming, concept development, space planning, interior design
and CAFM services.
For
Public Works and Government Services Canada, she is developing
the FM Integration Services Strategy and developed the presentation
on FM opportunities in PWGSC. She developed the Strategic Options
Analysis model that includes processes and tools to document functional
performance of physical assets.
In
1993 Meredith was appointed to the International Facility Management
Association (IFMA) task group for area measurement to participate
in the development of the IFMA annex to the ASTM standard for
space measurement. She is a Certified IFMA Instructor and was
formerly the Director of Education of the IFMA Ottawa chapter.
She has been published in facility management journals and conference
proceedings in the United States and England. She was both a contributor
to and a teaching assistant for post-graduate courses in the four-course
Master's Level Certificate Program delivered via the Internet
for MSU.
