For
the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), Tanya
designed two floors in their new building; a conference centre
and office space. She also aided in the management of growth and
change by collecting client requirements, developing concept layouts
to aid in space optimization, replanning existing and new space,
co-coordinating the implementation with other consultants/specialists,
and on-going maintenance of CAD files. Tanya also performed analysis
of the cafeteria for workflow and functionality and replanned
into existing space to support more people and equipment.
For the Bank of Canada, Tanya has been involved, since
1996, in the functional programming necessary to develop high-performance
work environments for many departments that are re-engineering.
Also
for the Bank of Canada, Tanya helped implement a Web-enabled Computer
Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system, using the ASTM standard
for area measurement.
For
the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne, she was the senior designer
on the team selected to develop the functional space requirements
needs analysis and space needs optimization study for the administrative
offices in the community.
For
the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, she was the senior
designer assigned to the team to prepare the functional requirements
document and develop the space planning concepts for a new organizational
group that had a 24/7 emergency response mandate.
For
Leimerk Developments, responsible for the design concept
and interior design to update and upgrade the public space for
this retail/office facility.
